TLA Systems just released DragThing 5.1. It has new Dock appearances, improved Desktop trash, improved contextual menus, a completely rewritten preferences system, Docks are now regular files (so you can open/close them as needed), and more.

Here's DesktopSweeper 1.0, a freeware APE Module (the equivalent of Unsanity's Haxies) providing a hotkey to control whether or not Desktop icons are displayed.

I badly needed that feature back after CodeTek removed it from VirtualDesktop, so many thanks again to those who helped me making it possible and stable!

CodeTek just updated VirtualDesktop to 3.0.1 (in both the Pro and Lite versions) with lots of new bug fixes. Check it out!
