James Thomson (TLA-SYSTEMS), just released DragThing 5.3.

The new features include displaying on its dock icon the number of unread items in your emailer (Mail, Eudora, Mailsmith, PowerMail or Entourage), and even in NetNewsWire. It also provides in the contextual menus some most used application specific commands, like checking your mail or starting a new one, controlling iTunes, and so on. Of course, other commands can also be easily added using AppleScript. Check out the What's New page for more.

Dave Winer: We're getting close to the open source release of Frontier. I believe it will happen before the end of September.

The only remaining issue, according to Dave, is to decide the license agreement. His plan sounds good to me, but what do I know? See the details here.
